Welcome to La Jungla | The Jungle 💜🚀

A Latino sci-fi saga exploring humanity’s struggle between science, faith, and survival—told in fragments through the intimate stories of its passengers.

La Jungla is the vessel that bears what remains of humanity into the stars.

Towards the end of days, Earth ended not by chance but because of religion: the Day of Ashes, the Solar Tempest, and the long War of the Worshippers — centuries of holy wars that scarred the earth and blackened the sky.

In the last hour, humanity outlawed its gods, placed its hope in science, and chose a thousand souls to preserve the possibility of survival. They set out for Proxima Centauri aboard La Jungla.

Millennia have passed. What was once a small ship is now a world: half the size of a planet, home to five billion lives, twenty Commons, thousands of cities — a tangled, breathing civilization like the jungles we left behind.

But peace frays. Faith, once silenced, stirs again. The Worshippers return, and the same forces that consumed Earth begin to whisper through La Jungla’s corridors.

La Jungla is not told as one grand narrative, but in fragments — ordinary lives gathered piece by piece. The intimate voices of migrants, siblings, and families whose stories form a Latin American literary SF saga, carrying exile and memory into the stars.

Together, these fragments trace the uncertain journey of humanity aboard La Jungla — still bound for Proxima Centauri B, still unsure of what awaits.

Your support — whether by subscribing for free or joining a paid tier — keeps this literary space alive.

In a world where walls are too often offered as solutions to our deepest challenges, La Jungla stands in solidarity with immigrant communities.

Faced with the rising barriers that divide and exclude, we turn to those who reimagine what’s possible — writers who reflect the times and serve as the counter-voice, dismantling borders and lifting our communities through imagination.

La Jungla is a space to test ideas and imagined futures, grounded in the belief that what we dream today can shape the world of tomorrow. Science fiction is never just fiction — it is a rehearsal for the realities we are yet to build.
